During my 8-year teaching, I have had brilliant students, and have loved the experience of always coming across new ideas of working with a subject matter to make it fantastic and cool for the child I teach.
How I teach
The mentor philosophy of mine is student-centred: my intent is always to create a supportive, exciting and warm workspace for discovering how to progress.
I react dynamically to the necessities of each and every child I tutor, forming my training manner in the way that it fully complies with their individuality and potentials.
At the time they're working on exersises related to their education, I suppose that scholars understand better. This speaks of writing tasks, using games, making rhymes, drawing pictures, student presentations, and other forms of collaboration, which makes scholars energised and stimulated regarding the object.
I explain appropriately and accurately, promptly analysing areas for recovery, next using basic pattern spotting strategies (whenever appropriate). I focus on making easy activities for the student make their special perception of the study. It is a true delight to learn new and interesting methods of presenting the topic for it to be always fresh and interesting for the student and for me.
The psychology of tutoring mathematics
With the help of humour, encouragement, and patience, I permanently work tirelessly to teach my children that they can much more than they think.
I strongly believe that my willingness to switch teaching strategies according to the necessities of students, subject matter, and child demographics are all vital for my ability to be efficient as a trainer.
I ground my teaching on the idea that the sole way to learn maths is to do mathematics. Although the reading examples and proofs from lecture notes and in textbooks is worthy, the real learning comes through personal experience at solving mathematical issues, either theoretical, computational, or both.
I have also determined that creating assignments that have a direct relation to the learner's own life can help with their studying the theme and comprehension its application.
